Maurice has played a major role in the growth of a number of magic circle and major US law firms, most recently having co-founded the London office of Ropes & Gray.
For many years he was a market-leading finance lawyer who in 1995 was one of the pioneering partners to leave the security of a Magic Circle firm to set up the London office of then new entrant to the London market, Weil Gotshal & Manges. Maurice moved to White & Case in 2000 where he played a pivotal role in the major expansion of the firm in London during the noughties.
Throughout his career, Maurice has seen first hand the positive impact that diversity has within law firms. He continues to promote diversity in its broadest possible sense with every client he works with. As a result these firms see wide-ranging benefits, from fresh and innovative thinking through to greater financial success.
He has always enjoyed the challenge of building and developing large teams and in a new phase of his career has decided to put this vast experience to good use, providing his services and skills to law firms and working with talented partners looking for their next role.
Maurice is married with 3 daughters and when not working enjoys spending time with his wife's St Kittian family and despite everything, keeping the faith with his beloved Manchester United. Our brand colour may have something to do with this passion...

In over 12 years as a finance lawyer, Naomi amassed a breadth of experience spanning both English and US private practice and senior in-house positions in the City.
Naomi trained at CMS, qualifying into their project finance team, before joining Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and then subsequently moving to an in-house bank role.
Throughout her career, Naomi loved contributing to the dynamic of a successful team - learning from those more senior, mentoring those more junior and witnessing how, within the right environment, individuals can draw the very best from themselves. It is this that excites Naomi about her role in placing the right lawyers in the right role, to enable them to perform to the best of their abilities, and her wide and varied knowledge of the profession and its participants, means Naomi’s service is both highly tailored and insightful.
Naomi is married with two daughters and when not juggling their “homework-ballet school-flute practice” commitments, loves pilates, photography and fine wine with friends.
